1/02/2012 - What a great year 2011 was for The Flashbacks! Our thanks to all that supported us by purchasing our music and coming out to our performances. We look forward to 2012 and all the adventures in store for The Flashbacks.
5/29/11 - A long time between entries. It was a cold winter, not much to write about. That has changed....spring is here and The Flashbacks are on the move for May 2011. Five shows in the month of May. We started with a big kickoff for "Music On The Market", downtown Easley. The weather was perfect and the crowd was great. It was a wonderful evening. Our next show was in Clayton Georgia. We performed for a coutry club that was superb. The guests were fun and we look forward to our return. Next was Blue Ridge Fest, Pickens, SC, with headliner "Chubby Checker". It was so much fun. Being included in this event is very special, our thanks to the Blue Ridge Team for our invitation. Next was Downtown Greenville, SC, "Main Street Fridays". The weather again was on our side and the crowd was fabulous. Everyone hung with us until the last song of the evening, which was sent out to John Wells, "Meet Me With Your Black Drawers". Finally we traveled to the coast and performed for a private group at the Isle of Palms, SC. It just not get any better than playing "Beach Music" with the ocean breeze blowing in your face. We had awesome month of May.....thanks to all who made it happen for us.
10/05/10 - We were in Laurens SC for "Squealin' On The Square", a great festival that we have done many times. This was another perfect evening, the weather was awesome, a little fall nip in the air. The crowd is always great in Laurens, one of our favorite places to perform. Thank you Laurens for having us back. We look forward to our return to your city.
05/01/10 - What a great time we had at Old Market Square, downtown Easley April 30th. The weather was perfect, the crowd was awesome, it was one of those very special nights. Thanks much to DunBurks Premier Events for including us in the series of concerts. We were told that this event held record attenance. Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed our music.
11/21/2009 - Top 40 host Ray Scott announced on the Top 40 Countdown Show today that "Roll With Me Henry" was headed to the "Hall of Fame". Another great accomplishment for The Flashbacks, #1 hit and Hall of Fame song. Our thanks to everyone who made this happen for The Flashbacks.03/13/2010 - It has been a long cold winter, not very much to tell in the past 60 days. Spring is just around the corner though and The Flashbacks look forward to being out performing, introducing some new music to our show. Winter is a great time to work on new material, but sometimes it is hard to get motivated with weather being dreary. Check out our schedule and make sure you plan to catch one of our performances early on. We will be in downtown Easley, Friday April 30, don't miss that date. The Flashbacks are the featured band on the website of 949 The Surf, broadcasting live 24-7 from the home of Beach Music, Ocean Drive, South Carolina. The link is www.949thesurf.com check them out. 01/17/2010 - "Roll With Me Henry" has been recognized once again by 94.9 The Surf as being one of the Top 40 songs of 2009. The recognition came recently during an event at Fat Harolds Beach Club, Ocean Drive, SC. The song was #40 out of all the songs hitting The Surf charts for the year. Thanks to everyone that had a part in making this happen for The Flashbacks! 11/17/2009 - The Flashbacks performed at a CD release party in Greenville, SC hosted by Beach Bob Ross and Kathy Cole celebrating the release of their new CD, "A Beach Bob Oldies Christmas". 11/14/2009 - "Roll With Me Heny" is #1 on the Beach Music Top 40. The song has been on the Top 40 since February 2009. Thanks to all who support our music!!! Thanks to 94.9 The Surf for playing the song. 11/07/09 - "Roll With Me Heny" is # 11 on the Beach Music Top 40. The song has been on the Top 40 since February 2009. 10/31/09 - "Roll With Me Heny" is # 12 on the Beach Music Top 40. The song has been on the Top 40 since February 2009. 10/28/09 - The Flashbacks have contributed the song "Santa Baby" to "A Beach Bob Oldies Christmas". This is a 12 cut Christmas compliation from Beach Bob Oldies\KHP Music which will benefit Camp Courage of the Childrens Hospital System, Greenville, SC and The Cherokee County Children's Home, Gaffney, SC. 10/24/09 - "Roll With Me Heny" is # 11 on the Beach Music Top 40. The song has been on the Top 40 since February 2009. 10/20/09 - "Roll With Me Henry" has been selected to be on Ripete Records "Beach Boogie & Blues Vol. 9" compilation. The album will be available only by download from Amazon, CDBaby, Rapsody and itunes download. This is quite an honor to be included. 09/19/09 - "Trying To Love Two", the newest release from The Flashbacks is on Tobacco Road Records newest compilation "Carolina Soul Collection". The song received major play at the SOS Fall Migration 2009. |
